The Majority of Mexicans are Mestizo.

Mestizo: is a term used for racial classification to refer to a person of mixed European and Indigenous American ancestry. Today, Mexican Mestizo is the largest ethnic group in Mexico, accounting for around 80% of the national population.

Even though the majority of Mexicans are Mestizo, many people have a misunderstand about Mexican because of Mexican T.V, as the current media in Mexico have mostly white actors for its movies and white news personalities as hosts. this problem is mostly due to the fact that those media organizations are run by white Mexicans.
