The Mexican SRE processes the electronic Mexican passport, its cost increased. Here are the requirements and details.
The Mexican passport has an integrated chip in which the photograph, biometric data and personal information of the holder are stored, including a digital signature that is unique in each passport.
The carrier data is laser printed onto a polycarbonate sheet. For the first time, the electronic passports of minors in Mexico include the photographs of the parents.
1) Certified copy of the birth certificate or naturalization letter or certificate of Mexican nationality. You only need to present one of those documents.
2) Official photo identification. It can be your INE , ID, professional title, INAPAM or military card.
3) Bring your voter card with a copy on both sides on the same sheet.
4) Proof of payment of passport fees , original stub and stamped by the bank.
5) Appointment confirmation sheet.
6) For minors, identification and presence of both parents is also required.
Before your appointment, you must pay the corresponding fee according to the validity of your passport. Take your payment format to the bank.
1) 1-year passport: $ 755 pesos.
2) 3-year passport: $ 1,470 pesos.
3) 6-year passport: $ 2,000 pesos .
4) 10-year passport: $ 3,505 pesos .
