León Krauze gives an inept view about Mexican Politics.​

This is an example of lazy journalism, if you can even call it journalism. They fail to point out the reasoning behind the need for a Presidential referendum in Mexico. It's to "set a precedent" for such a referendum in the future, whereby holding Mexican leaders accountable.

It's from washingtonpost.com, So that's hardly surprising. They are entirely out of touch with much of the reality in Mexico. They look at things as if was still the late 1800's and anything South of the Rio Grande was ripe for plundering and exploiting.
