It would be interesting to see what you would do when a group of people are pelting you with rocks.

I sure would not want to take a rock to the face and or head, groin or anywhere on my body- would you?

The guy was warned and still he chose to continue his assault.

What would you do, you can't cross into Mexico?

U.S. agent kills Mexican teen near border, Mexican official says
By Arthur Brice, CNN
June 8, 2010 3:18 p.m. EDT

(CNN) -- A U.S. Border Patrol agent based in El Paso, Texas, shot and killed a 14-year-old boy in Mexico on Monday evening, a Mexican official in Ciudad Juarez said Tuesday.

The Mexican government is asking for a full investigation.

FBI special agent Andrea Simmons confirmed Tuesday that a Border Patrol agent shot and hit someone Monday evening but said she did not know whether that person survived. Simmons said she did not know whether the person who was shot was on the Mexican or U.S. side of the border, but that the agent never left U.S. territory.

The body was found on the Mexican side of the border, Simmons said.

Lou Patch, a supervisory Border Patrol agent in El Paso, also confirmed the shooting.

Ciudad Juarez spokesman Sergio Belmonte identified the dead teenager as secondary student Sergio Adrian Hernandez Huereca.

The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. after an assault on a Border Patrol agent, Simmons said.

Belmonte said Hernandez and some other boys were playing near the border when he was shot in the head. The spokesman said he had not heard anything about an assault on the border agent.

"The young man was not armed," Belmonte said. "He did not have the physical size to threaten anyone. The aggression (by the U.S. agent) is evident."

The shooting occurred underneath the Black Bridge, a railroad span that connects the two countries, the Mexican official said.

The FBI is leading the U.S. investigation with assistance from the Border Patrol and the El Paso police department, Simmons said.

let me put it to this way....my first husband used to throw things at me to the point on bruising me and one time cutting me, he was NOT a gun user, now i waited for a couple of days and when the SOB came home, i got a baseball bat, when he came around the hall i swung hard and broke his knee cap jumped on top of him and put the butt of the bat to his throat and said if he ever land a hand on me again the next time i would kill him,,,,,he never did.........now the agent could have fired shots over his head or as close to his body as possible and the kids would have dispirsered....but the bottom line is the agent shot across the border and as far as we can tell the CHILD was on the other side....

Mexican Government should look at themselves in the mirror before telling other governments what to do. Especially since many Americans get screwed over by the Mexican Government and get thrown in jail without seeing a judge.

Fuck them. If you're not a farmer then you don't have any business by the border. Borders are full of drug trafficers and illegal tresspassers. These people have made our borders into a warzone.

Yes, now let's take away the BP's guns and issue them baseball bats right next to the murder capital of the world. Your anecdotes of pathetic passivity are meaningless here and anywhere.

These people who say rocks are a joke by poor little boys, or something. Do you agree to stand against a wall for a stoning? We can consider that a test of how safe rocks are.

1. Why does the USA have immigration laws?

2. Should we allow any person in the world to enter the USA any time they please?

3. Does the USA have the resources to allow any person in the world to enter the USA any time they please?

4. Would mass immigration to the USA solve all of the problems of all of the countries in the world where the standard of living is less than ours?

5. Do you know what the immigration laws of the USA are and do you fully understand them?

6. If you answer yes to 2,3,or 4: Why do you feel that the USA has this type of obligation to accomdate any person on the planet who feels that they need to leave their own country?

You knew what you were dealing with in your husband. The BP doesn't have that luxury. They put their lives on the line every day. If someone attacks them they have every right to defend themselves- period.

The relevancy is in the relative importance of it. And also the fact that it's mexican youth from poverty, a key element in both cases. The implication of this making news on a site like this is clearly political, not moral, humanitarian or even from the desire for a sensible policy to avoid such trends.

please prove i am not interested in seeing a sensible policy enacted allowing the end to the ridiculous system i believe we currently have. please prove i posted this thread because i don't feel pain when an innocent person is gunned down by police. what you yourself labeled "a racist execution." you have yet to prove this relevance by posting the 30 stories that happened simultaneously in mexico. i know you are a moral humanitarian who backs up what he says. i know you'll come through with links and credible sources. thanks man.

that is so true.......now if we can get people on this side to stop by drugs from them then maybe alot of this violence will stop.......that is our biggest problem here in texas....the drug cartel and the idoits that continue to supply them with money:cool:

rocks against guns come on dude....you and i are gun users...we know better then that....scare the SOB....but to shoot him, a child, for throwing rocks.....sorry i have to disagree you with on this one......we, USA, hold ourselves to a higher standard and the price we must pay for that is to uphold to it too:cool:

i agreei agreei agreei agreei agreei agreei agreei agreei agreei agreei agree

rocks against guns? no one is saying they shoul;d not carry guns they should. they have dangerous jobs. but, they also carry tasers, mace and even flashlights specifically designed to be able to be used as weapons if necessary. 1% biker gangs carry police flashlights for that very reason. even they realize the importance of degrees of defense measures. if 4 iraqi insurgents start shooting at our troops we don't drop daisy cutters. law enforcement are trained in how to keep their cool, not get scared (of things like children throwing rocks) and respond with appropriate levels of force.

this is the same thing from the right and right wing spammed. are you the same person?

if so, i thought you said hazer would do nothing to you. that's the third user account in 1 day. what happened?

the body was found in mexico. so mexican authorities have jurisdiction. the border patrol agent never left the us side. he obviously did not have to shoot to kill.

mexican officials have the right to comment on what happens in their country. it's their country.

where are you?

A government has rights and jurisdiction in their own country? Interesting- I think you should let calderon know that.

That's not what I'm saying but I know you'll spin it as you like. How many times has calderon tried to tell the U.S. government what they should or should not do in the U.S.?
