Beverages for Staying Awake and Alert

When you need to wake up or stay awake to study or for work what do you guys drink? Coffee? Energy Drinks? Soda? What?

I work the graveyard shift and I have Rockstar and Mountain Dew in my desk drawer. I also have access to all the coffee I want here at the J.O.B.

I have taken advantage of all three drinks lately.

What about you? Take heed, this is about beverages so please refrain from talking about drugs or caffeine pills, etc...Gracias.
 
i had a mixed martal art i drink extream energy drink just to last thier class well yesterday was my second day i was all pumped but today i feel like a fucken herd of horses trampled my i cant even pick up my coffe cup as i type. I SWEAR TO GOD IT AINT EASY i thought it was going to be a breaze

I do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and before I roll I always have a Red Bull. What exactly are you practicing?

Yeah, I have heard of people getting the jitters from energy drinks. The only real one that does that to me, but is hard to find, is Rocket Fuel. If I drink a can of that shit my eyes will be as big as paper plates.

Rockstar works pretty well. Red Bull is mildly effective. Coffee is great. Mtn. Dew works fine, too.

The only part I hate is crashing, but just like the old drunks do to avoid hangovers----they stay drunk. So I just have myself another drink to stay crunk.

I know there will be those of you out there that will cry---Just get some rest. Easier said than done...easier said than done.

Also doing brazilian jiu jitsu and boxing but all i know is boxing so the take downs were today fuck only 2 guys out of ten knowck me down and from grownd position on defense i learnd one of many arm bards and the tryangl and how to break out of defense on his back you know what i mean when they legs raped around you and you push up on the bottom of ribs and us elbow to dig in tender spot in the thies push back and sweep on side i fogot what is is called it only my second day and today i am fucken sore like i have nevor been that shit aint no joke. and i work out every other day but this shit uses lots of skill and movement that you yousualy nevor use as an normal person or even a gym monkey fucken awsome shit but not today. i just got a rubdown with oil from a mexican ladie man i feel better.[crazy]on top of that i us pair up with a guy that is 320 lb how the fuck was i supose to rap my legs around him fuck he dug deep in my thies and jamed his nee in my ass hole and jumped ontop to try to sweep fuck NO NOMORE MOTHER FUCKER lucky he didn't have a cup so ya i got his bitch ass back right in the webos. FUCKER

Well, now I am back at work. My 10 hour shfit has begun. You need some Jolt to get you through your studying. You know, I have never tried that stuff. It's hard to find nowadays.

Sounds like you are talking about being in full guard and you were trying to "posture up" then pass the guard. I used to box, but getting hit in the head stops being fun after you realize you aren't getting PAID for it---it's just training. I like to train in wrestling and BJJ much better.

You are right. The combat sports are no joke. I don't care how much you lift or how much you run, nothing gets you in shape for the ring or the mat better than just working in the ring or on the mat. You gotta use just about every muscle in your body in addition to having outstanding cardio.

What sort of enchanting work do you do that keeps you up till the wee hours of the night?
 
Exactly. I don't know how I would get through the night without BP and my fellow night owls. Especially during the very slow nights.
