Construction of the Tulum Airport in the Mexican city of Cancún, estimated at 15.5 billion pesos (US$770 million), is advancing, and the funding for the project has been secured.

The Secretary of Defense ( Sedena ) is in charge of building the airport & the military air base near the port area of Felipe Carrillo.
