Legendary Poster
One day up in heaven all the angels gathered around,
to hear the lord speak of a problem he's found.
The angels all listened with compassion and love,
as God spoke of a man that he watched from high above.
He's been through so much throughout his young life,
yes he has stayed strong through hard times, and suffering.
The lord continues to speak of this young man,
who fell victim in to the devil's cruel hand.
He told the angels of the pain this man held inside.
and how lonely he was. and how often he cried.
The angels all listened because God was serious,
as he spoke of this man that he loved so dear.
Then the Lord said i will choose one of you to go down to earth and make this man new. He looked through the crowd of halo's and white wings, and he noticed one angel playing the harp's strings.
That angel looked back at God and she knew right away that out of all the angels, God chose her that day.
She was given the task to teach this young man, and lead him through life while holding his hand.
She came to this world with one thing in mind,
to take of this man until the end of time.
This angel was small yet her heart was big,
and it was so full of love that was hers to give.
She had long brown hair and pretty brown eyes, with a smile more beautiful than the stars in the sky.
She taught this young man the meaning of love.
And that's why she was sent from the heavens above.
She came down to earth to save this man's life; the man fell in love and made her his wife...
This is the way God wanted thing to be. So, as you read the lines of this poem i hope you see that the angel was you and the man was me.
