time passes by, we don't talk, you stay on my mind
as if you're sitting close like folk
sometimes i have trouble with my pride, it detours me from letting what i feel be recognized
alone i stroll accomplishing what i can while letting the rest go
can't take on to great a load to where i give it up whole
day by day closer to my goals
though it feels i'm moving slow perhaps it's because i am, it's the set pace on this road i chose
have to start somewhere locc
still i wonder how things are going on
if to our future your still hanging on
or am i just clinging to an ending dream
that in reality lives only in me needlessly
