I have posted before about my Salvadoran boyfriend. I slept with him, and he still calls and wants to see me constantly...nothing changed for the worse. He's just more jealous and protective than he was before. He seems to really care about me. Well, now he wants to move in together because he gets off work late at night and is only off one day a week. So he can't see me that much unless we live together. So, I know this sounds stupid, but I asked him if we could get married like in maybe a year, because I know that my family will have a problem with me living with him and having kids with him, if he doesn't marry me. and I have a problem with that too. So, he says that he is not prepared financially to get married, but that he doesn't want to lose me. He says he thinks he will be ready to get married in 2-3 years. WTF!!!!! TWo years!? He says that in order to marry me, he has to be ready financially to take care of me. Is this true for hispanic males? I am American. What should I do?
