i guess i got my hopes up too high
i never thought you'd be the one to make me cry
i thought i saw something in you
something so real and true,
but now i see that i was a fool and i guess they see it too
i new there was someone else in your life
but u said she had cuased you so much strife
and that you were moving on
coz she was completely gone
you could have told me things might change
and that you wouldnot always feel the same
and if you did not know that you could not let her go
you could have atleats told me something
instead of pretend it was nothing
why is it left for me to find
that you are really hers and not mine
by seeing you late at night
and seeing that they were right
