Federal law enforcement conducted an operation on Thursday night, connected to a violent robbery at a Denver jewelry store earlier this week.
On Thursday, there was a significant law enforcement presence at a Motel 6 in El Paso TX. A helicopter hovered overhead as several armed officers in SWAT gear entered a room with shattered windows and escorted at least one person out in handcuffs.
On Monday afternoon, the family-owned Joyeria El Ruby was targeted in an armed robbery captured on video. Approximately eight individuals ransacked the store, violently assaulted the family members inside, and threatened their lives. They even stripped the victims of their personal jewelry.
Family members informed news stations that Joyeria El Ruby was emptied in just three minutes. Surveillance cameras captured clear images of the suspects, potentially aiding law enforcement in tracking them down.
