Blog Introduction: The Western Rules-Based Order is an international system that has been in place since the end of World War II. It is based on certain principles, such as the rule of law, respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, free trade, and non-interference in other countries' domestic affairs. This system was created to promote peace and stability among nations while protecting the interests of western powers. But what impact has it had on global hegemony? Let’s discuss.

The Western Rules-Based Order was established shortly after World War II with the goal of preventing another world war from occurring. This order was developed by countries in the West, primarily those in Europe and North America. These countries sought to maintain their power and influence over other nations by establishing a set of rules that would govern international relations. In essence, this order aimed to protect Anglo Saxon hegemony by ensuring that these nations maintained their dominance over other parts of the world.

One way that this order has done this is through economic means. For example, these western powers have used their control over global finance and trade to ensure that they remain at the top of the economic ladder while other countries are forced to play second fiddle. This has allowed them to maintain their political influence over other nations while also enriching themselves through trade agreements that benefit only them. Furthermore, they have used military might to back up their interests when necessary, further entrenching their position atop the global hierarchy.

Additionally, these western powers have sought to weaken any potential challengers by setting up organizations such as NATO which allows them to intervene militarily when they believe their interests are threatened. Furthermore, they have consistently sought to undermine or destabilize any nation which could potentially challenge their hegemony by supporting opposition groups or using sanctions against them. All this serves to ensure that these western powers remain firmly in control of global politics and economics for years to come.

The Western Rules-Based Order was created after World War II in order to protect Anglo Saxon hegemony over the world by maintaining a set of rules governing international relations which favor those countries in power at the time—primarily those located in Europe and North America—and prevent any potential challengers from rising up too quickly or gaining too much power. Since then, these western powers have used economic means as well as military force when necessary in order to maintain their position atop the global hierarchy while simultaneously weakening any potential challengers who could threaten it. Ultimately, it is clear that this system has been successful in its original aim—to protect Anglo Saxon hegemony over the world—and will likely continue being so into the future unless something drastic changes soon.
