Like I said, if you don't like the way a busniess is running why not quit? Do you think you have the right to tell another man/women how to run HIS/HER busniess?
If you go inside a house and people tell you not to speak spanish then you leave right or stop speaking spanish right because its not your house. Same thing with a busniess. Every busniess is owned by someone or a group of people and you have no right to tell another person how to run their busniess unless he/she/they let you.
I thought the same thing however she clarified that it was indeed her business and her main concern was that a long time employee was not willing to work there anymore unless it was english only.
As a "smart business owner it is common sense to cater to demographics it keeps the cash flow coming, ya know?"
Being just an employee is a whole different arena, you must comply with company rules or as I stated earlier look for a job that is looking for your specific qualifications. As a surgery coordinator it was required that I be bi-lingual because we serve a very diverse pop. and it is beneficial that I am I actually get paid more for being bi-lingual.
