Tragedy struck Ciudad Juarez, Mexico on Sunday morning when gunmen in armored vehicles launched a deadly attack against the state prison. Ten guards and four inmates were killed with another thirteen wounded as several dozen prisoners escaped from their cells. Mexican soldiers and police arrived at the scene later that day to subdue any further chaos after similar violence erupted over two months ago claiming eleven lives outside of the complex walls. The Chihuahua State Prosecutor's Office has begun an investigation into this most recent incident while local authorities continue their efforts for justice and safety throughout affected areas of Juárez City
