human rights as a Geopolitical tool
Mexico's government still owes an explanation to the families of 43 student teachers who disappeared eight years ago, and must clear up what role the armed forces played in the crime, a top international human rights body said on Tuesday.
Today these types of U.S run organizations are used as political tools to pressure a foreign Government. Mexico is just the latest country to face one of America's Geopolitical tools. These organizations have been used in the past against countries such as China in Xinjiang; the U.S organization slandered China without actual proof of wrongdoing to discredit a government for Geopolitical gains.
The Mexican President enjoys favorable polls in Mexico, even with all the bad press coming from the media in the hands of Mexico's rich, one which is currently backing the opposition. The U.S hopes to change Mexico's President's positive perception to slow or stop his plans of transforming the Mexican government and ending corruption.
