...."what do you see in my hood"
Every other block is different set of rivals,
crooked ass crack head 5-0's,
we got drug dealer and murderer idols.
A place were grandparents die hoping,
there kidz could quit smoking,
were the only dream is to be a dopeking.
Hood life, la vida dura,
every where you look theres a hurra,
hearin' people asking "i wounder who'z the shoota."
I know a homboy that took a slug to the chest,
the one day he forgets to where his bullet proof vest,
I envied how he finaly got to get some rest.
I dont pack cuz i want 2 it'z cuz I have 2,
people wont think twice to blast you,
i've felt a bullet fly right pass my tatoo.
God please help us we're being beaten,
the devil iz near i can hear him creepin',
he'z the reason mothers in the hood are weepin'.
the reason fathers don't exist,
just drunks that talk wit fists,
no kids deserve to be talked to like this.
I undersatnd i'm only human that was created from the sand
Lord if you can hear me please extend your hand
