[JAGUAR PAW]

i wrote this poem when i was on the highway on my way home from portland and i kept on seein brown faces so simon i came up with this poem................

Mexican faces on the highway
pretty soon we'll be the dominant
brown faces everywhere
there will be no more racial stares
no more racial slares
none the less
there will be some from our own kind
back home
thinkin that we somethin more
some of us are just as poor as before
none the less we still growin with some stress
with some obsticles on the way
but we'll be all together some day
white black yellow and the brown
together makin firme sounds
bumpin to the musica
que nos tienen moviendo todo rythmical
but what i know for now is that the latino sound
america is hearing al around
aqui estamos y no nos vamos
aqui nacimos the few the proud
were fighting for our rights
even the ones that wern't born in this land
it dont mean we in some way dont love it none the less
now i heard a latino can become a candidate
to be some day the president
they recognize that we are the majority
but they affraid we might change everything
so ellecting one of us will be kinda tough
but why not show em what we got
soon enough a young latino will lograrlo
and he will be your future presidnente
another puppet of the congress
of the supreme corte
but best believe we will make history
in dem history books
of ellecting our very first mexican/latino presidente
i just hope the choices que el haga
no nos affecte en el prosseso
o nos destrosse
lets just hope he dont fuck up
cuz with him were starting our crop
and lets hope that we keep on grown up
instead of growin none
and keep on staying underground
latino faces all around
everyday were growin like bean sprouts
even if some of america does thier pouts
we will maintane fighting for our rights
mexican faces is what i see
some are good and some are suffering
it too hurts me inside to see ppl with a frown
no matter what color or background
