Why are some Mexicans against the reforms?
Most of those against the reforms have a vested interest in keeping the Status quo; they have benefited in the past by gerrymandering in elections to suit their own needs.
Large corporations and many affluent Mexicans have been the primary funding source for these rallies, as many see this as their last hope in maintaining some control in Mexico.
