I have no problem with folks having pride for their homeland, but where is the pride for their home (USA)?
I hear a lot of shit talking about America, yet people are all flocking here.

The U.S. doesn't always live up to what the constitution and declaration of independence represent.But the goal here is set to shoot for at least, in what the founders set up in those documents.
That's why eventualy slavery had to fall, ...... in the face of "all men are created equal ".
And even though our government hasn't always done right ,most of our laws are based on the bible which respects rights of the individuals that's what keeps the government in check . That's why any of you guys here can still start any business you want , and become wealthy without someone coming and taking it all away from you. Like in some socialist countrys where they tell you what you can do and cant. There are tricks
to pulling it off though, the asians got it figured out pretty well.

America is great. I don't want to live anywhere else. I love my country (America, for the record) I just can't say that they're the best country in the world...

For one, I've been to Canada, and Mexico.. So.. out of the three, sure.. it wins.. But, statistically (and no, I will not search for these statistics that I once found, read a book).. other countries have us beat on a lot of important things. I'd still rather live here.. but i's not enough to say you're from the best ocountry in the world.. You and me, everyone here, should be doing the things that help us continue to be able to truthfully say that. It seems, a lot of us in this country, rest on our "top spot." GET UP!
