this is a true poem about my older brother who died a few years back. i miss him very much.
I cry
I scream
the pain is over bearing
my best friend of life is gone.
im all alone
im lost
when our parents wernt there you were
when our grandma died you kept me strong
your the one who taught me right from wrong
you were wise for your age
yet fun for our kind of life
you got me throogh the hard times
then we found out you had cancer
and all i wanted to do was cry
but you told me not to
so i did what you said
then on your death bed
these are the exact words you said
little sister always be strong
always choose right from wrong
you know that i love you
and i always will
remember ill always protect you
even when im gone
then a tear slid down his cheek
and he gave a small smile.
just please remember what i said
then he closed his eyes
relaxed upon the bed.
then one last breath ecscaped.
then i whispered good bye brother ill love you always
