true american????????

so im a america?

idk i dont like it

The continent (hemisphere ?) is the Americas- North America, South America and Central America. This is the United States of America. At some point people started saying "I'm an American" instead "I'm a United States of American" (though they probably never did say all that [lmao]). I just say I'm a US citizen. I really don't say American because of silly nit picking like this.

YOu Tony have dual citizenship status if your parents are Mexican citizens ..that automatically makes you one too...practically and if you were born here pos your American citizen..:)

Dont get sassy mr....You are not too old to put over my knee:p
btw I am most certain you knew I was replying to peanut.

That's horrible! *Damn white people!* Wait... I am half Irish:p

Have you ever seen Irish clogging? Pretty cool! What was that show- Riverdance?

You have dual citizenship? If so, you can say either or both.

I don't get the dual citizenship thing- as to why it exists.
My mom has this (dual citizenship) I guess it is they do not have to give up full rights to either. She has had hers forever!
My dad on the other hand is a U.S. citizen

If you have ever traveled to Mexico and you are not a Citizen or son or daughter of a citizen..you have to fill out paper work like a bitch..wait in long lines..and pay money..
so yeah thats basically a good way to avoid all that shit...believe me I know...;)

It's interesting that people can do that. I would think they would have to choose. I think I first read about it with US Jewish citizens also having citizenship in Israel.

I think you have to have a resident visa, my mom updated hers several years ago.
But the downside? She cannot vote or that is what she has told me, and as much as she is into politics I think that this would be an incentive for her to apply for her citizenship, but in her words, "I have my reasons little girl"
