The American reporter Mary Anastasia O’Grady is laying the groundwork for the American Government to pressure Mexico into buying Genetically modified Corn.

Neoliberal reporter Mary Anastasia O’Grady

Mexico buys 16.8 million metric tons of yellow corn, mostly for feed, from the U.S. annually. Mexico is the second largest importer of corn in the world, after China, and most of it is supplied by American farmers. It’s the second-largest corn export market for U.S. growers.

I've seen Mary Anastasia O’Grady make it a point to basically push American foreign-policy talking points. Unfortunately, many unwilling readers who don't know her history of being biased & will fall for her B.S. Crazy how they just lie about everything now, just so America can extort Mexico into submission and accept America's unhealthy GMO corn for human consumption.

Forcing a smaller country into buying your trashy GMO is not a sign of leadership. Is this the rules-based order America is trying to save in Ukraine?

Ambassador Katherine Tai, who heads up USTR, very simply needs to pull that lever and file an enforcement case against Mexico in this situation. It's a very open and shut case. Mexico doesn't have a leg to stand on when you look at the facts. To date, Ambassador Tai and her staff at USTR have been incredibly slow and timid about engaging with Mexico over this decree, which is baffling and frustrating.

Farmers from Nebraska are taking the Anti Mexico lead and will push U.S trade representatives to punish Mexico for not buying genetically modified Corn.

A chancellor of the University of the Philippines at Los Banos, once said:
“For every application of genetic engineering in agriculture in developing countries, there are a number of less hazardous and more sustainable approaches and practices with hundreds, if not thousands, of years of safety record behind them."

Mexico's government cannot make purchases of yellow corn from the United States because it does not want genetically modified (GM) corn, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Wednesday.

The United States wanted to sell Mexico more yellow corn and Mexico declined, Lopez Obrador said in a regular news conference.

"There is a market for it but the government cannot make a purchase because we do not want GM," Lopez Obrador said, citing a lack of scientific investigation into its effects.

I dont think the U.S is going to stop trying to pressure Mexico into buying that nasty GMO corn.

Unfortunately, its looking that way. This is an example of modern-day colonialism.
